"And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony..."

-Revelations 12:11a

The proof is in the people! We truly love the community and love that simply is our church. The following testimonies are proof of the power of community, the power of the local church. Jesus has changed our lives and we are so glad He placed us all together.

Throughout the last few years, Jesus has pruned me in ways I never would’ve understood without knowing His love. I started in the high school class and although it was a tough time in my life, Jesus blessed me with two of the greatest friends I’ve ever had... ever! They encourage me and love me and fight for me! Now as an adult, I’m being pruned differently in my small group. I hear a new perspective on this walk with Jesus, I learn from my older sisters and brothers and I can see Jesus changing all of us from the inside out! His love is amazing! I’m different because He called me out of darkness into His marvelous light. I’ll never be the same, thank you Jesus!

To me Jesus is Amazing can be summed up in one word- Family. I have been with the church from the time the doors opened and over the years have watched our family grow into what it is today. I have seen young children grow into wonderful youth leaders. I have seen brothers and sisters go from just meeting Jesus to leaders for other newcomers. I, myself, have built close trusting relationships that I didn’t know I could have. I could not imagine my life without this family and thank Jesus I never have too. The love of Christ has woven us together as strong as any stone or steel. I love my family and cherish every moment I get to be with them. That's what Jesus is Amazing means to me.

When I started coming to this Church four years ago, I had no idea of what I was getting into, but JESUS knew HE knew the plans that were set before me. I had no clue that at the time this body would become my family. A family that knew Jesus and showered love upon me that it felt like rain every time I assembled with them. This rain was sooo refreshing that I came back for more and more. Then Jesus said, “this is your home. You’re never to leave” and as I obeyed, love flooded me again.  It was easy to love each member of this body because Jesus says, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this, all people will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another'' (John 13:34-35). So Jesus gave me a purpose and this family is the very best family to be a part of because JESUS gave them all to me to love and journey with my PAPA knew just what I needed and that was each one of you. I am very Blessed! Thank You JESUS I’m forever grateful!

I grew up going to my grandparent’s small-town church 45 minutes from home, where everyone genuinely loved one another, as I got older, and more independent I became rebellious in my faith, and quit attending services regularly.  I still believed, but my actions by no means lined up with the word of God.  I always felt a nudge pushing me back and experimented with different churches to try to fit in better, and that was more convenient for me and my life. I settled at a megachurch for several years. During this time the Lord was truly working in me, I started digging in His word, learning what true worship was, and yearning for more.  Yet, I still felt there was more.  Jesus already had the perfect plan laid out for me and my family.  We had heard that someone was about to buy and rehab the church in Lindenwald, which happened to be where we live, and that once it opened we would check it out as a family.  And....we have never left since.  Six years later, we still are in love.  We found the missing piece.  A Jesus family, that same feeling from that small church of my grandparents where you get to know one another and truly love one another no matter what.  I am held accountable by others that help keep me on the path of righteousness.  Jesus knew exactly where he wanted me to be and I am so grateful.  He is Amazing!

Jesus is Amazing Church is family. Since the very first day I started attending Jesus is Amazing Church I was accepted for who I was and always shown unconditional love. Every member is so unique and face different challenges but together we are the church. Thank you Jesus for my awesome family!

One thing that I love about RU is the curriculum. For most of us, we are blown away by the love of Jesus Christ. And as we open up the word satan begins to lie to us that we are never going to understand this. However, the curriculum puts you into the word in ways that you will be like ‘yeah, I understand this.’ Jesus has taught me so much, He has set me free, and He is still setting me free!

When I started coming to RU I was having severe panic attacks. With Jesus and a body of people who truly loved me the attacks went away almost immediately. That was almost three years ago and no attacks since. Thank you Jesus.

Before Jesus is Amazing Church, I was raised in our original Milford branch. My brother and I made up most of the youth group, and my mom was our teacher. Since coming to Jesus is Amazing Church, Jesus blessed me with the friends and community I never knew I needed. He has placed me in a small group that listens, exhorts, reproves, and grows with me. He has blessed me with friends that will become bridesmaids, and family that are in it for the long run. I have found my "For Lifers" and they make my life so much better! I thought my life was complete, but then Jesus showed me the community that I was created for. Jesus is so good to me.

The Wednesday youth group changed my life by being more open and giving me friends that love me and love Jesus so I know that they can help me when I’m going the wrong way.

Through the high school youth group, I gained my brothers and sisters in Christ (aka the greatest support system ever). The friendships made through youth groups are unlike any other. You grow together physically, mentally, and spiritually. These people hold you accountable and are a family for you to always rely on and fall back on. They are no longer just your friends; they are your brothers and sisters. Despite being an only child, it rarely feels like that because my brothers and sisters are constantly there for me and are always spending time with me. Every year I look forward to the youth revivals because it’s a week of change. Bonds grow stronger, hearts transform, and gifts are stirred up. At our 2018 revival, we talked about spiritual gifts all week and that message stirred me up. I’ve played piano my whole life, and Jesus revealed that he gave me the talent to lead people in worship. Somewhere along the way, I was no longer just a youth member. Now I lead worship every Sunday for the altar call. I am beyond grateful for the people Jesus has given me at Jesus is Amazing Church.

We would love to meet you in person!

You have a part in our story; we can't wait to see how Jesus writes you in
